Terms of Service

Dyne (dyne.fi) is a marketplace that helps diners discover restaurants in Helsinki and book tables with instant confirmation, and helps restaurants manage their availability and reservations.

Dyne is provided by Emilia Huikko and Agathon Westin, trading as Dyne, Kulmakatu 5 B 23, 00170 Helsinki, Finland. Dyne has not yet been incorporated and therefore has no Finnish Business ID (Y-tunnus); the company details will be updated here once the company is registered. The same controller details appear in our Privacy Notice.

When you book a table through Dyne, the reservation agreement is between you and the restaurant. Dyne transmits your booking details to the restaurant and confirms the reservation instantly based on the availability the restaurant has provided.

The restaurant is responsible for honouring confirmed bookings and for keeping its opening hours, capacity and blocked dates up to date.

You can cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the reservation time via the booking management page. After that, please contact the restaurant directly. Individual restaurants may apply their own no-show and late-cancellation policies.

Restaurant partners must provide accurate information about their venue, keep availability settings current, and keep their account credentials confidential. Partners are responsible for all activity under their account.

Restaurants listed on Dyne are additionally bound by the Restaurant Partner Agreement, which sets out listing obligations, fees and each restaurant's role as an independent controller of the booking data it receives.

You may not misuse the service — including making fraudulent or speculative bookings, attempting to disrupt availability, or accessing another party's data. We may remove bookings or accounts that violate these terms.

Restaurant descriptions, images, menus and price levels are provided by the restaurants themselves. Dyne does not guarantee their accuracy.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Finnish law, Dyne is not liable for indirect damages or for restaurants' failure to honour reservations. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version is always available on this page.
